© Konrad Jünger
Konrad Jünger studied industrial design at the Magdeburg University of Applied Sciences and product design at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin. He worked in furniture design at Studio Thomas Feichtner in Vienna and Designschneider in Berlin. Together with Verena Kühn, he founded the design studio jüngerkühn in 2018. Since 2020, Konrad has also been researching and teaching at the weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin as a research associate in the research project "Bauhaus 4.0" on the topic of robotics.
In his work Konrad is looking for the "animateness" (Beseeltheit) in everyday things. While still embracing the nature of the industrial production, Konrad tries to make the human qualities that go into any kind of manufacturing visible. He sees digital fabrication techniques as tools to introduce these values in his projects.
