anticipate - a collective intelligence design research network

the anticipate.network approaches anticipation as a matter of collective intelligence design: how to create contexts and conditions that allow us to imagine possible, potential, plausible futures. and then act. in common.

datenraum.design

CYANOTYPES: Anticipating Creative Futures

"CYANOTYPES is a community of change, a pan-European project which addresses the Cultural and Creative Industries sector’s needs and skills gaps. Challenging existing frameworks, we ask what innovative, multidisciplinary structures, strategic interventions and concrete skills development solutions can be adopted across the European CCI ecosystem?"

European Forum for Advanced Practices

"The European Forum for Advanced Practices (EFAP) is an open and inclusive research network originating from universities, NGOs and community-based organisations, independent research entities, museums, and a wide range of arts academies. EFAP’s broad goal is to establish a dialog across the boundaries that often separate these contexts and to promote exchange with a focus on emergent forms of artistic- and practice-based research." (COST-Action 18136)

Interactive Narrative Design for Complexity Representations

"The aim of this COST action is to build a network for the interdisciplinary study of the potential interactive digital narrative has as a means to addressing complexity as a societal challenge by representing, experiencing and comprehending complex phenomena and thus also address the issue of "fake news". The challenge therefore is to change IDNs current status from ‘singular achievement’ of a small group of ‘initiated’ practitioners to ‘general practice’ of many media companies. The INDCOR project (Interactive Narrative Design for COmplexity Representations) addresses this challenge by means of a coordinated effort in analysing and generalising design and production methods of stand-out IDN works with a particular focus on the representation of complex issues." (COST-Action 18230).

Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab

The platform economy (PE) has accelerated following the COVID-19 outbreak. Although several PE models exist, the PE predominant model is mostly characterised by poor working conditions, low pay, lack of social protection for workers, and increasing gender, racial and socioeconomic inequalities. The main objective of the Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab (P-WILL) is to build a pan-european interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary multistakeholder network including policymakers, industry leaders, civil society organisations, designers, researchers, and the main initiatives happening at the international level, to foster the upsurge of alternative scenarios in the frame of platform work." anticipate - a collective intelligence design research network

the anticipate.network approaches anticipation as a matter of collective intelligence design: how to create contexts and conditions that allow us to imagine possible, potential, plausible futures. and then act. in common.

datenraum.design

The main objective of the Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab (P-WILL) is to build a pan-european interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary multistakeholder network including policymakers, industry leaders, civil society organisations, designers, researchers, and the main initiatives happening at the international level, to foster the upsurge of alternative scenarios in the frame of platform work." The platform economy (PE) has accelerated following the COVID-19 outbreak. Although several PE models exist, the PE predominant model is mostly characterised by poor working conditions, low pay, lack of social protection for workers, and increasing gender, racial and socioeconomic inequalities. The main objective of the Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab (P-WILL) is to build a pan-european interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary multistakeholder network including policymakers, industry leaders, civil society organisations, designers, researchers, and the main initiatives happening at the international level, to foster the upsurge of alternative scenarios in the frame of platform work." The INDCOR project (Interactive Narrative Design for COmplexity Representations) addresses this challenge by means of a coordinated effort in analysing and generalising design and production methods of stand-out IDN works with a particular focus on the representation of complex issues." (COST-Action 18230).

European Forum for Advanced Practices

"The European Forum for Advanced Practices (EFAP) is an open and inclusive research network originating from universities, NGOs and community-based organisations, independent research entities, museums, and a wide range of arts academies. EFAP’s broad goal is to establish a dialog across the boundaries that often separate these contexts and to promote exchange with a focus on emergent forms of artistic- and practice-based research."
