Beschreibung

This course is about spatial thinking and the design of virtual 3D worlds both for console or desktop games as well as VR/MR experiences.

We discuss and develop concepts, ideas, prototypes for immersive virtual worlds.

How do we make the most of limited development ressources ? How do we achieve the best immersion of our players into our virtual worlds ?

How do we effectively work with environmental storytelling ? How important are spaces, shapes and colours, and how do we use them ?

Thinking out of the box is very important here (literally), as well as reconsidering "known facts and behaviors" for the age of virtuality !
