HAMLET (Human-centred generative Ai fraMework for culturaL industriEs’ digital Transition) is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action that aims to democratize access to Generative AI across Europe’s Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).
The project combines technological innovation with social and ethical foresight — building a Collaborative Community Hub that connects creative practitioners, researchers, and institutions, and developing AI tools (“Enablers”) that enhance creative processes in design, performing arts, gaming, and cultural participation.
HAMLET promotes sustainable, inclusive, and collaborative models for AI-driven creativity, lowering barriers to digital transformation and enabling shared innovation across the creative ecosystem.
The HAMLET consortium is a collaborative network of 12 organizations across 6 EU member states, combining expertise from academia, research, industry, and the cultural sector. With 6 research and technology organizations, 2 SMEs from the Creative Industries, and 4 non-profit cultural organizations, the partnership brings together the knowledge and resources needed to drive innovation and digital transformation in Europe’s Cultural and Creative Industries.
